Now we ask: “Who needs challah?” It gave us the people with a reason beside each name: knee surgery, a Hebrew birthday, a yahrzeit coming up. It also brought up the addresses and told us the previous deliveries hadn’t been checked. We chose that week’s list from that conversation. That was the moment for us.
A birthday message with something to say.
The morning brief said it was someone’s Hebrew birthday. We were already in the chat, so we asked for something the Rebbe said on that date. We sent him a birthday message with it.
